I was born and raised in Fenton, MI with three brothers who currently reside in the area.
My mother is Terry Callard and my father is Robert Peabody. I graduated from Fenton High School in and
moved to East Lansing to attend Michigan State University. I entered college with an undeclared major,
knowing I wanted to work with people. During my second semester there I woke up in the middle of the night
with the idea I would become a chiropractor, and now I have made that dream a reality. I have an aunt and
two uncles who are chiropractors so I have had regular chiropractic care all my life.

Following my heart, I left MSU and my journey took me to Boise State University in Idaho. I finally
finished my Bachelors degree from University of Alaska Anchorage where I lived for three and a half
years. I started chiropractic college in Atlanta, Georgia at Life University College of Chiropractic,
which is my relatives' alma-mater. School was very excited and the more I learned, the more my
passion for chiropractic grew. After two years, political issues within the school forced me to
finish my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC.
Along the way I learned some pretty awesome things. I had no idea that chiropractic was discovered by an
adjustment restoring a deaf man's hearing. Through my schooling, my awareness grew of the amazing ability of
the body to heal itself, the internal workings of the nerve supply in the body and how vital that system is to
health, the body simply works better with a good nerve supply, how and why to adjust, amongst so many other
things.
After being away for nearly ten years, I returned to Fenton to pursue my dream of opening a Café of
Life. The Café of Life is a conceptual framework to

shift ideas of chiropractic in the minds of the public
and is quickly spreading through the profession.
When I am not at the Café, I can often be found at the local gym or yoga studio. I have been a certified
group exercise instructor since 1999 and teach a few classes at the Genesys Athletic Club in Grand Blanc and
at the YMCA in Milford. I have a deep appreciation for what yoga has brought to my life. Beyond that,
I enjoy snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, being on the lake, spending time with friends and family,
and serving life to the people who come in to see me at the Café.
