Dr. Erica Peabody was born and raised here in Fenton, MI with three brothers whom all currently reside in the area with their families, her extended families have been Fenton area residents for decades. Dr. Peabody has been under chiropractic care all of her life.
Following graduation from Fenton High School, Dr. Peabody started her college career at Michigan State University and during her first year, decided to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
She worked hard towards a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science at Michigan State University, Boise State University, and graduated, with Cum Laude honors, from University of Alaska Anchorage where she lived for 3.5 years.
Dr. Peabody began Chiropractic College at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated, with Magna Cum Laude honors, from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina. After nearly 10 years of schooling, she returned home in December of 2004 and opened her practice, Café of LIFE Chiropractic, 3 months later.
Over and above her Doctor of Chiropractic coursework, Dr. Peabody has completed numerous courses to offer the very best care for prenatal/postpartum patients, as well as, infants and children. She is certified in Webster Technique and is often sought after by midwives and other birth practitioners in the area to co-manage care for expecting mothers. She is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
When she is not helping people at the Cafe of LIFE, she is usually spending time on adventures with her fiance, at the local gym, yoga studio, running, reading, writing (blogging), biking or spending time with her family. She is an avid snowboarder and spends the winter weekends on the slopes as much as possible. Aside from being a chiropractor, one of her most favorite roles in life is being “Aunt E” to her handful of nieces and nephews.
DR ANDREW WIDEMAN, CHIROPRACTOR
Dr. Andrew Wideman joined Cafe of LIFE Chiropractic October 2018. He is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr Andrew grew up in Owosso, and he graduated with a degree in Nursing from Baker College of Owosso in 2005. He worked as a Registered Nurse for 9 years before deciding chiropractic was a better fit for him and returned to school to pursue his Doctorate.
Dr. Andrew has a strong desire to help people improve their health and well-being in lasting and purposeful ways and is excited to be part of the Cafe of LIFE Chiropractic team and working alongside Dr. Peabody, allowing the practice to expand hours of service and continuity of care. He has a passion for working with children as he has seen the benefits of chiropractic care and natural parenting raising his own 3 children. He practices a technique that compliments the care already provided by Cafe of LIFE Chiropractic, has been diligent in learning pediatric techniques and is certified in the Webster Technique to provide proper care to prenatal and postpartum patients.
Dr. Wideman has been married to his beautiful wife, Rachel, since 2008. They currently reside in the area just north of Fenton with their 3 children: Caleb, Amity, and Susanna. When not working with patients, Dr Andrew enjoys cooking, going to movies, camping, and playing games with his family.
